The Psychometric Exam in Israel
The Israeli psychometric exam (פסיכומטרי) is equivalent to the SAT exam in the US.
It is comprised of 3 sections :
Verbal Exam
Math Exam
English Comprehension Exam
The score on this exam ranges from 200-800 (800 being the highest score).
Your score on the psychometric exam will be calculated together with your GPA from high school in order to determine your eligibility for acceptance to an undergraduate program.
Fair Scoring System
The date that you take the test and the language and version of the test that you take will not affect your score. The scoring method guarantees that even if you take the test along with a group of examinees with above-average or below-average ability, your score will be no different than if you had taken the test on another date.
